You will be responsible for providing a customer focused efficient pension service to a range of stakeholders including the West Midlands Police officers & police staff.

As a member of the pension's team you will resolve detailed issues on calculations and reconciliations as necessary. Processing and calculating transfers in Assisting retiring officers in regards to all pensions related queries to ensure their exiting the business is smooth whilst adhering to the agreed SLA Processing and calculating pension benefits Ensuring the West Midland's Police internal systems are accurate and up to date Giving pensions advice to West Midlands Police personnelCriteria
Extensive experience within a pensions environment specifically in the public sector The ability to produce pension calculations and solid experience of interpreting, communicating and applying the pension regulations is essential. You will need to be an excellent communicator - You will be in contact with a range of stakeholders including police office so an ability to converse with a wide audience is crucial An ability to hit the ground running and quickly understand the police's internal systems A good understanding of MS packages with the inclusion of excel (formulas, tables etc.) Excellent verbal and written skills A willingness to learn and grow within the role Someone who can show initiative and work independently An individual that is comfortable in managing their own projects and workload once fully trained You must be well organised, able to prioritise your own workload and work to strict deadlines. An In-depth knowledge of Pensions products and their regulatory requirements A knowledge of payroll processes and systems Ability to analyse date when neededBenefits
