Are you a machine operator? Do you want a perm job with a fantastic company?

Do you want a salary of £24460 PLUS

If so we are looking for 4 permanent machine operators to start asap with a well known engineering company in Bridgwater. This is a NEW shift due to how busy the client is

Shifts are 6-2/ 2-10. However we are focusing on the 2-10 shift mainly to start with as we need 2 people asap, but if you Can only do one or the other shift PLEASE still apply

Ideally you will have experience with Fanuc or Lathe machines, IF NOT you must have previous machine op exp and be willing to learn and have the ability to use testing equipment such as testing tolerances

Main Purpose and Scope of Job

The Operator is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant workplace and that their operations team follows company HSE and Quality policies.

The operator must adhere to work instructions at all times.

It is within the operator's role to fully understand the drawing provided and be able to competently use the required measuring equipment and produce good quality parts whilst maintaining nominal sizes.

The Operator is responsible for maintaining and operating machinery and the efficient running of production. Be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

Statement of Accountabilities

Maintain the business

Represent the company professionally at all times and create an impression of the client in line with the company mission statement

Operate as an effective member of the team and follow the companies AS 9100 processes

Maintain machinery and complete check sheets.

General housekeeping of machine and area as per 5S standard.

Maintain data integrity of jobs.

Support a continuous improvement programme.

Knowledge and Experience Required

Communication skills, Basic product and tooling awareness, Professionalism, Customer quality expectations.
