We are currently looking for a passionate & engaging secondary Teaching Assistant to work in one of our new Secondary mainstream schools in North Swindon. You will be expected to support KS3 students on a 1:1 basis as well as a classroom setting. The students you will be supporting are mixed ability and with SEN so the Teaching Assistant will have to have experience adapting to each student's needs. The role will be supporting students with EHCP's in school and class. They would be supporting the overall Inclusion Team with intervention support, inside and outside the classroom.

This role is starting Mid-February on a long-term basis 5 days a week and could lead to a permanent contract for the right individual after 12 weeks. You will be expected to work from 08.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 08.30am-2.30pm on Fridays.

You must be able to engage with the students and help them with their daily lessons. Having experience of working with children with SEND or behaviour difficulties would be preferred. You will need to have gained GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade A-C as a minimum for this role.
