Job Details

Randstad are currently recruiting for experienced teacher's and tutor's capable of delivering intervention and tutoring support to small groups of pupils within school's. The role is 5 days a week work for 15 weeks. If you are a KS1 or KS2 specialist looking to support attainment and make a difference to School's please keep reading!

Currently they require a KS1 & 2 Specialist to support intervention in a 1:3 ratio, which will be rotated throughout the day. These sessions would run Monday - Friday delivering 5 hours tuition per day during school hours. The focus would be to develop core skills in English and maths, specifically core skills, phonics and comprehension. With application and calculation in maths. The school uses letter's and sounds to guide reading and follows the Lancashire curriculum for maths.

The role is to commence from January 2021 and will run for 15 weeks.

Developing a plan for progression
Keeping up-to-date records of student's progression and learning.
logging a pupil record at the end of each session.
liaising with the class teacher.
Ensuring the safeguarding of all pupil's.
Upholding the School's Ethos and Values.Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered

Essential requirements:

Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
High knowledge of the KS1/2 curriculum.
Classroom experience.
Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)Desired:
