Lead Systems Engineer - South - £Competitive

Lead Systems Engineer required by successful instrumentation manufacturer to take ownership of all systems engineering aspects of new and existing programmes, operating as a technical leader and a key player in driving the business forward. Working in an Agile/Scrum delivery methodology, the Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

• Managing the development of Systems Engineering Plans
• Technical leadership and development of Systems Engineering capabilities across various projects and sub teams
• Supporting the development of current and future Systems designs and their implementation
• Capture and review of designs for all stages in the engineering lifecycle to enable robust management of existing systems and successful movement of initial concepts through to production

The ideal Lead Systems Engineer will possess excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive forward development plans and inspire those around them to do the same. A relevant degree in hardware engineering and familiarity with project management methodologies are also key criteria.
