As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working and liaising with clients and our application developers, from the requirements gathering and design stages through to test and deployment. You will ensure the functionality being delivered meets the customer's needs and requirements, and you could also be involved in other client related activities such as helping the client deliver related business change. .

You will have interactions with customers, business analysts, project management and Planixs senior management, so your abilities to motivate colleagues, display credibility and instil confidence will be vital to your success.

The role could either suit a candidate from a niche software/consulting company or a candidate from a corporate environment who wishes to move to a more dynamic business where their contribution has an impact on the outcome of the success of the business.
You will be based primarily in our Manchester office with potential for occasional travel.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities Include:
Becoming fluent in the Planixs suite of applications
Gathering business requirements, understanding process (both current and future) and translating into relevant software solution capability
Running client workshops to gather views and feedback on design concepts and functional designs
Documenting detailed designs, typically using Agile user stories
Supporting clients through their acceptance testing of the software
Delivering 'Train the trainer' expert training
Influencing the product roadmap from your client interactions and discussions
Providing input and updates to status reporting.
Identifying issues and facilitating resolution
Core Skills & Experience:
Demonstrable experience of Agile / Scrum development methods, software development lifecycle and associated toolsets
Highly effective communication skills; both verbal and written
Strong stakeholder management; both internal and client
Good understanding of Project Management processes and key delivery frameworks
Demonstrable drive to deliver to the highest standards and to encourage and support colleagues to do the same
Adherence to ethical business standards
Strong work ethic that can be followed by fellow team members
