About the role of Banking Operations and Credit Card Specialist

We have a great position on a fixed term basis with a Bank, based in their Banking operations team. The successful candidate will have experience in a banking operations role, with a highly customer centric approach with experience of using banking systems to open accounts, process payments, manage complaints and manage daily workflow queries

Responsibilities for the position of Banking Operations and Credit Card Specialist

Opening accounts in Aperio the core banking system
Issue customer documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Manage inbound customer request
Reconcile accounts, investigating with the support of the finance team to resolve issues
Dealing with maturity instructions
Ensuring cheques are cleared and cashed
Ensuring all other payment exceptions are processed
Resolving appeals
Supporting the banking operations team leader as required
Participate in projects as required to help deliver new systems, processes, and products
Managing the daily workflow queriesExperience required for the position of Banking Operations and Credit Card Specialist

Experience in a customer services or banking operational role
Highly customer centric with a passion to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
Experience o using core banking systems such as Aperio, APS, Signature, TS2, Customer Manager and Genesys
Experience of core processing (e.g., payment processing, complaints handling, KYC case referrals
Experience in working with workflow/task management tools
Knowledge of financial services rules and guidelines
Knowledge of products such as instant access and fixed terms savings accounts and Cashback credit cards
