Job Details

We are partnering with an established, but growing, IT Services business who are currently recruiting for a Server Engineer, who will responsible for a range of Project Delivery and BAU Support.

You will be joining an organization who grew in 2020 despite the pandemic, and are looking to build on this growth over the next few years which is evident as they have recently secured a number of exciting projects due to kick of imminently.

As a Server Engineer will be responsible for the creation of both physical and virtual server solutions, taking ownership or being involved in solution designs at all levels relating to servers, support the full project lifecycle for customers from pre-sales through to delivery, as well as occasional 3rd line escalation server support.

Skillset wise, they are looking for someone who ideally has a MCSE or MCSP, although relevant practical knowledge would be considered as an alternative, excellent knowledge of both Windows Server and Virtualization (Ideally Hyper-V) technology, strong 2nd/3rd line experience, but also first-class customer facing skills.

The preferred office to be used as a base is Barnsley due to this being where most of their Project Delivery team is, however they have other offices across Yorkshire which could be used. Travel to customer site will be required as part of the, and there will be remote working available.
