Job Details

Our Kettering based client is recruiting an Operations Analyst on a permanent basis to present weekly recommended manufacturing schedules to a defined portfolio of clients, reach agreement on future manufacturing plans, and subsequently deliver the plans.

Key responsibilities:-

Define available warehouse stock and agreed client sales forecast, and create manufacturing demand figure
Produce a recommended manufacturing schedule for agreement with the client
Producing weekly production plans and material requirements agreed with the manufacturer
Placing purchase orders required with manufacturers and suppliers
Monitoring delivery, availability and stock levels of raw materials in line with the production plan, and resolving any issues
Resolving any queries relating to deliveries, invoices, quality and timeliness that arise within the incoming supply chain
Maintain an effective relationship with clients and suppliers, including providing clients with feedback on supplier performance
Weekly reporting
Month end stock reconciliation and adjustments The successful candidate will possess the following competencies:-

A strong attention to detail
Be able to work to deadlines, whilst managing conflicting priorities
Strong communication skills at all levels
Excellent customer service skills
IT literate
ReliableYou will also need the following experience/skills:-

Good literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE 5+in English and Maths)
Experience of using MS Excel in an Operations role.
Experience working in an administrative Operations role.
Relevant experience of a similar role covering most of the same areas
Proficient in the use of accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage
Proactive
