Location: London - E1 8QS AND Homeworking
Salary: £10,010
Term: Part-Time, Permanent - 17.5 hours
Why do we want you?
We want you because you are someone who enjoys extracting data, reading and writing content and producing reports. Ideally, you will either have an understanding of financial terms and the ability to understand a financial market OR you will have a strong desire to learn.
You will be producing strategy reports, so knowledge of MS office / use of databases and a strong attention to detail are essential for this role.

Wilmington Business Intelligence (WBI) provides intelligence and analysis to the charity and pensions sectors.
Main Purpose of Role
Pension Funds Online is in the process of launching a new feature, Future Strategy reports, that detail the investment intentions and the environmental concerns of the UK's major pension funds.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team of researchers responsible for producing strategy reports by reading the annual reports of the pension schemes, and extracting the necessary information.
The product requires that the team deliver clear, concise reports that condense, abridge and extract precise points of information from voluminous annual reports
The process requires sourcing annual reports from financial websites, analysing them for relevant details, and collecting these in our in-house database.
To familiarise themselves with our internal databases, industry terminology, and to provide support to the wider Editorial team, the successful candidate will also be involved with the everyday roles associated with Pension Funds Online and its sister publication Charity Financials, such as collecting contact details and finances from annual reports, websites and LinkedIn.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in the same/similar role
- Understanding of financial terms and lexicon and ability to understand a financial market - desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Office or use of databases
- To have decision making skills, self-organisation and acute attention to detail
- To be proficient in written and spoken English, with good communication and relationship-building skills
