Science Teacher
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Science teacher for a highly touted secondary school in Sheffield. The role will cover a maternity absence and run from February 22nd to the end of the academic year. The school has excellent public transport links with onsite parking. The school puts a great emphasis on having developed a strong relationship between staff and students, this has been reflected in the recent progress in GCSE over recent years. The school aim to provide an inclusive and stimulating curriculum, with a diverse range of extracurricular and intervention programmes to help students reach their full potential while enjoying school life. The school has recently invested heavily in upgrading various facilities.
This successful candidate will teach a timetable of Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 groups. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities. You will be working alongside acommitted, hardworking Science department, who aim to foster an excitement for learning, enabling students to fulfil their potential. The Head of Science is looking for either an experienced Maths teacher or an NQT with a strong education. It is essential to have good interpersonal and classroom management skills.
* Pay upto £170 per day dependant on experience
* Full time position starting February 22nd
* Experience teaching English at KS3/KS4 level at highly touted Secondary school
