Michael Page Engineering are working in Partnership with a European Market Leading Manufacturing business who are looking for a Process Engineering Manager for their facility in Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will oversea a Projects team and a Process team and drive innovation of manufacture and also improvements on site.

Description

The Process Engineering Manager will oversee an automation projects team as well as on site process engineers. they will lead with a hands-on approach in a collaborative but accountable style

they will also:

Be key in identifying and Implementing new technologies, including specification of requirements, capex justification, planning and implementation
Be capable of supporting cross functional teams to improve plant KPIs, ensuring production attainment, efficiency, quality and scrap reduction objectives accomplishment
A proven leader within Automation projects and Production Engineering - cradle to grave ownership
Committed to wanting to make a difference and developing their team's potential
Be pivotal in managing all the resources associated with their team
Be able to co-ordinate, manage and distribute data to all parts of the business
A passion for delivering manufacturing innovation

Profile

The successful applicants will be:

Degree qualified in a Engineering discipline (Electro-Mechanical would be advantageous)
Hands-on experience of assembly and automation systems engineering is essential
Proven track record in an equivalent role delivering significant value to an organisation
Qualified Six Sigma Black Belt would be preferred
Able to deliver innovative solutions on time and to specification is a must
Able to coach and mentor other well educated and trained engineers
Possess a practical approach to problem solving and innovationJob Offer
