Autism Ward Manager

We are looking for an experienced Ward Manager to manage two Wards and provide high quality services across two 15 bed specialist Autism wards.This position is 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
Our client is a well-established, specialist Health and Social Care provider based in the South East of England. Their main goal is to support individuals with complex and challenging needs to maximise their independence to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
The Autism Ward provides a comprehensive range of treatments tailored to individual needs, for patients in both a low secure and locked rehabilitation environment. Other areas of the service provide a secure environment for patients with a forensic history and/or challenging behaviour; whilst you will not be working in these areas, you need to be aware of them. As this site has six awards, there are realistic opportunities for career progression.
Your role will be to manage the day-to-day running of the services and coordinating its operations including training, supervision, appraisal and management of all nursing and support staff. You will also be responsible for coordinating the staff rota and ensuring clinical cover remains compliant.
On a clinical level, you will monitor the day-to-day clinical care of all residents in the service and ensure the completion of necessary CPA, Managers Panels and Mental Health Tribunal reports by members of the clinical team.
The minimum criteria for this role are:
*Relevant qualifications and NMC registration
*Strong experience working as a Ward Manager
*Experience in DBT & Personality Disorders
*Solid people management experience with multi-disciplinary teams;
