Database Developer

My client who are a well established service provider with a superb brand are looking for Database (SQL) Developers to join their team.

Job Purpose:

* To build and deliver solutions inclusive of design, development, testing and documentation

* Supporting the Commercial team in the production of day to day deliverables for my clients customers

* Supporting other development team members in the maintenance and update of Marketing Databases managed by my client.

* Update and maintenance of Client Marketing Automation Database Platforms and production of required deliverables

Key responsibilities/Skills:

* Format, process and transform client supplied data files for load to their hosted database solution

* Translate defined processing rules into efficient program code using SQL within the cloud-based Snowflake environment (primarily). Also work with MySQL, MS SQL Server and other SQL compliant databases.

* Use of SQL database and Apteco FastStats Suite to produce counts, extracts and reports from my clients data files and managed databases.

* Support the set-up and execution of outbound digital marketing campaigns within the Apteco FastStats Suite and supported ESPs, primarily Adestra and MAPP.

* Maintenance and updates of my clients managed customer databases and documentation of all processes.

* Support client facing Commercial team on best technical solution to achieve client objective.

* Electronic and verbal communication of technical issues / solutions with clients and suppliers

* Testing and quality checking of work produced by other developers.

* Making decisions regarding most appropriate method and tools to carry out a job, project, or database change

* Identify issues and solutions, working through processes step by step to highlight where errors have occurred

* Proactively communicating with Client account leads in terms of areas for development and contribution to new initiatives and answering Client challenges
