If you have experience working in a similar role, then of course you will be used to what a 24/7 role looks like. IT Operations looks different in every business, so when you join us one of the key priorities is for you to get to grips with our organisation and our environment. It is therefore important that you have a desire and want to learn, and this should continue beyond the immediate requirements of the role.

Computershare maintain the financial assets of our clients and on any given day there can be in excess of 50 billion dollars coming through our systems. IT Operations play an important part in this and ensure our critical applications are monitored 24\7. As one of our Shift Mangers you will have full responsibility for your team, from workload allocation to demand management, ultimately ensuring that our systems are functioning, and all critical issues are escalated. What are we looking for?
Hopefully you will have a good grasp of what we are looking for based on all the above but let's delve a little further to highlight some of the key attributes we would like to see in you.
You will have experience working in a leadership role and be technically savvy to enable you to be that point of escalation for your team and our stakeholders from multiple global business lines. You will be well seasoned in team development, strategic planning and everything else that goes with leading a successful team.
Being commercially focused is always important to us, as is the ability to drive continuous improvement with a spotlight on automation.
You will be passionate about technology and everything that goes with it, but you will also be driven by people and providing great leadership. Other skills and experience required:
