Job Role: Project Leader

Location: London (Paddington)/Remote

Daily Rate: up to £386.64 LTD/UMB (£337.59)

This role is INSIDE IR35

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support the business readiness activities for each stage of Elizabeth Line (services across Anglia and Western Routes).

The role will work with each workstream lead to support project managing their plans and activities for each critical service changes. Support the management of RAID, communications, engagements activities, workshops and production of documentation in line with the programme requirements.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the largest infrastructure programme in Europe and gain exposure within the route and external stakeholders including, Transport for London, London Underground, Rail for London Infrastructure and MTR Elizabeth Line.

Key Accountabilities:

Work with each workstream lead to ensure project activities are periodically updated to align with the overall programme plan and support the delivery of those activities.
- Update their RAID and action logs periodically.
- Support communications and engagement activities to ensure that stakeholders are kept up to date with progress and provide a feedback loop.
- Support the development of periodic reporting.
Support the mobilisation and readiness of major stations for readiness projects.
Support the delivery of the Operations workstream readiness activities for readiness projects.
Support the delivery of the Asset & Maintenance workstream readiness activities for readiness projects.
Support the delivery of the Data Readiness, Stations & ETCS workstream readiness activities for readiness projects.
Support the delivery of the Performance and Safety workstream readiness activities for readiness projects.
Build relationships with route customers, Route exec, internal and external stakeholders, providing a professional interface.Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Essential

Experience of working in change projects.
Understanding of applying project methodologies.
Knowledge of/experience in the UK rail industry.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Strong user of MS Suite including PowerPoint and Excel.Desirable

Educated to degree level
Member of project association
Commercial and financial awareness.
Experience using MS Projects or other project planning tools to create schedules or Gantt charts.
Experience managing risk portfolios- reporting and mitigating risks and identifying solutions.
Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures
