Elevation are partnered exclusively with a Global Manufacturing business who are market leaders within their chosen discipline. My client is looking for a Facilities Manager to join their engineering function who will be fully responsible for all aspects of their Facilities Maintenance, including full budget responsibility and their busy distribution centre.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the standards and safety compliance of our Centre of Excellence at Raunds and associated locations in Northamptonshire.
-The job holder will ensure building, general plant and system maintenance at the Raunds Campus, NDC and any designated warehouses used to support the pick and reserve warehouse operation for all inbound deliveries across 2mft2 of space.
-Develop and manage engineering planning systems, standards, CMMS utilisation and equipment / building history to deliver gains in engineering resource efficiency, work accuracy and equipment / facility reliability.
-Knowledge in a broad range of plant equipment and systems the holder will ensure plant and building systems do not effect operational activity, personnel health and safety and maintain the highest levels of statuary compliance.
-They have responsibility for the day to day site contractor management and control plus general facilities management; the role is also responsible for fire safety, technical and environmental legislative compliance and procedures.

Qualifications / Skills
-A degree/HNC or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline.
-NEBOSH or equivalent safety experience.
-Strong decision maker who has a successful track record in engineering management in a manufacturing environment.
-Track record of driving continuous improvement and implementing lean tools.
-Experience of technical and environmental legislation and processes that ensure compliance.
-Project management, budget and finance control.
