Primary Education Tutor

£25.00 - £28.50 per hour - salary is dependant on the number of children in each tutoring session (between 1-3)
Vision for Education are currently recruiting Primary Education tutors to deliver tuition to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils from January 2021 based in a Primary School in Darlington.
As a Primary Tutor, you will be required to be patient, calm and empathetic, and hold the ability to engage young people , and motivate them to achieve and overcome any barrier to learning.
Lessons will take place during school time and working hours will be 8:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday, working with KS1 and KS2 pupils on a one-one, one-two and one-three basis.
Due to the nature of the role, suitable candidates will be comomfortable liaising with school contacts and report any issues or concerns when necessary.
To be considered for the Primary Tutor position, you will:
Have a background in teaching Primary KS1/KS2 (QTS/QTLS is essential)
Be comfortable to plan and lead sessions online - previous experience is desired but not essential as training is provided.
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
Be available for at least 5 hours per week.
