Are you an RN or RMN with management and nursing home experience? Leaders In Care is helping a care home near Abingdon find an experienced Deputy Manager. The role comes with an annual salary of between £40 and £45k, plus a performance-related bonus.
You will be putting your nursing home manager experience to good effect, taking the lead responsibility for dementia care, GSF and staff training as well as auditing the home (care plans, medical needs, etc.)
If you were already in this home manager/RMN nurse manager/RN nurse manager role, here are some things you would have done this week:
Actively promoted personal independence and choice and ensured person-centred care is given at all times
Helped maintain the general day-to-day running of the Home
Offered support and advice to all other members of staff, residents and relativesTo apply for this Deputy Manager of Care Home role, you will need relevant nursing qualifications, i.e. Registered General Nurse (RN (first level) or RMN) with an active NMC pin. Experience in similar Nursing Home Manager job in a home for the elderly is essential, and knowledge of CQC Guidelines, Gold Standard Framework for end of life care and knowledge of Dementia Strategy and Dementia mapping would be beneficial.
