Nursing Home Manager
Altrincham, South Manchester
Up to £60,000
40 hours per week
We are recruiting a Nursing Home Manager on behalf of our client based in Manchester. Our client has numerous homes throughout the UK caring for thousands of residents and is seeking a Manager in one of their nursing homes within Altrincham. A successful candidate will hold the position of Registered Manager within this home and must be a qualified nurse/RGN with an active pin. You must be able to demonstrate effective leadership and clinical management within the care industry. You will work within a nursing home specialising in general & dementia nursing in addition to residential and respite care for the elderly.

Job Role
As Home Manager, you will :-
· Lead your team by example
· Help residents achieve their goals and dreams
· Help residents become independent in a safe secure environment
· Have a very patient and caring nature
· Be willing to learn and improve
· Inspire others to achieve their aspirations
· Go above and beyond to assist residents and your staff
· Be very organised
· Undertake walk around checks ensuring compliance
· Ensure that patients receive a high-quality service
· Effectively manage staff and resources
Experience & Key Skills Required:
Our Home Manager will :-
· Have an active PIN
· Understand clinical needs, being a qualified nurse/RGN is essential
· Holding a full UK driving licence is preferable
· Have an NVQ Level 4 or 5 in management (or equivalent)
· Have senior managerial experience
· Have experience of delivering quality clinical and personal assessments
· Have experience in engaging with service users and their families
· Have a good understanding of Quality Assurance tools
· Be confident in communicating with your colleagues ensuring that you maintain excellent working relationships
