Psychology Graduates - South Manchester
Are you a Psychology Graduate who is hoping to go on to become a Primary Teacher or an aspiring Educational or Clinical Psychologist keen to gain further experience with SEN children before undertaking a MA or PhD?
As a Psychology Graduate, you will work on a temporary, full time basis with primary aged children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism, ADHD, Global Development Delay and Communication Needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. The chosen Psychology Graduate will have the responsibility of providing differentiated support both inside and outside of the classroom to amplify academic ability in certain core subjects as well as helping them to integrate effectively with the rest of the class. Duties will also include running planned programmes and activities to assist the pupils' individual learning and social needs as well as providing overall support to the classroom whilst the teacher is delivering planned lessons.
To apply for this position candidates must:
* Hold a degree in Psychology.
* Have a desire to pursue a career within education or educational psychology.
* Have recent experience working with young people - ideally primary aged children.
* Be proactive with a natural positive attitude towards teaching and learning.
