This Supply Chain Manager position is with a globally leading speciality chemical manufacturer. This Supply Chain Manager role is with a globally operating chemical manufacturing business with sites strategically located all over the world. The manufacturing site has recently sanctioned a huge multi-million-pound investment to ensure that they maintain their status as a market leading chemical manufacturer, with a number of new installs, upgrades and refurbishments set to be onsite.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager;

Responsibility for planning, implementing monitoring the overall contracts aspect of the business function.
Overseeing Sales, Warehousing, Logistics and Contracts teams in order to optimise efficiency and productivity, delivering budgeted sales volume for the site.
Working on an established process manufacturing site utilising SAP systems (SAP Super User) as the Supply Chain Manager.
Senior level strategic leadership and decision making, leading experienced, multi-disciplined and capable teams.To be successful in this Supply Chain Manager role it would be ideal for applicants to have a degree in a business (Supply Chain Management) or engineering discipline or equivalent (CIPS). Previous experience working as a Supply Chain Manager with a demonstrated track record in people leadership is essential. Ideally you will have come from a Chemical or Process manufacturing background.

As the Supply Chain Manager, the company offers a 15% pension, private health care, life assurance, annual bonuses up to 10% and 26 holidays plus stats. The company operate a relaxed but structured working environment, evident with their low labour turnover.
