Excellent opportunity for an Enterprise level IT / Software Senior Sales Specialist to join one of the leading SAP authorities delivering solutions to more than 6,000 customers worldwide. A deep and demonstrable knowledge of the Higher Education Sector is essential.

The Senior Sales Specialist Role:

With ambitious plans to grown within the Higher Education space we need an individual who is going to lead our market penetration of this sector.

This will include management of our existing clients and obtaining new clients.

Selling SAP software solutions and associated support services (consulting, support services, cloud infrastructure)


Responsibilities and Expectations :

+ Own all aspect of the go to market plan for the sector and to generate a business plan for the next 3 – 5 years
+ Be able to comprehensively present and articulate the value proposition for the sector and to generate and meet revenue and margin targets and to fulfil the role of a trusted advisor to both Customers and Prospects. Defines innovative approaches to generate business and execute strategy for maximum effectiveness.
+ Have in-depth knowledge of the sector and ideally established contacts within Universities
+ Help design and plan all market penetration activities.
+ Partner with SAP to ensure our strategy is communicated and aligned ensuring maximum SAP support, optimized value propositions and general promotion of the business

About You:

+ Deep and demonstrable knowledge of Higher Education Sector (5years minimum) probably obtained in competitor environment.
+ Must have excellent sales and negotiation skills: demonstrated by evidenced based successful history and projects.
+ Strong and engaging facilitation, presentation, demonstration & personal communications skill-sets.
+ Ability to build strong relationships at all levels within Customer & Prospects.
+ Ability to operate at a senior level within the business effectively liaising, influencing and communicating at senior levels across all functions of the business.
+ Possess a high level of motivation and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a high level of self-sufficiency.
+ Knowledge of specific SAP solutions is not necessary, but understanding of Student, Finance, Human Resource and Student Engagement Solution concepts is required.
+ Be able to confidently facilitate sales demonstration sessions to drive innovation and value for both customer and prospects.
+ Possess a strong commercial acumen
+ Excellent English language skills both written and verbal.
