We are a fast growing global eCommerce company that retails in stylish, high quality furniture and furnishings. Our mission is to provide everyone with great design in a premium quality at the lowest possible price. In order for this to happen we operate a streamlined and automated business where all business processes are managed by an operations system of recurring checklists. We are looking for a hands-on person to manage our entire operations and all checklists – the engine of our business!

Senior eCommerce Operations Executive
High Street Kensington
£35,000 – £45,000 + Benefits

The Role:

This is a varied position that will see you managing all processes in the business, from marketing to supply chain to finance. The role is varied but these are the key responsibilities:

+ Execute checklists in a timely manner with 100% accuracy. The checklists vary from easy to complicated and require you to use a number of different software programs and online tools. Below is an example of checklists to perform on a recurring basis:
++ Refund checklist
++ Return checklist
++ Damage product checklist
++ Product review checklist
++ Financial reconciliation checklist
++ Check invoice and payment checklist
++ Stock ordering checklist
++ Container booking checklist
++ Container receipt checklist
++ Stock reconciliation checklist
++ Update promo checklist
++ Weekly and monthly scorecard checklist
+ Develop a deep understanding of the business and suggest improvements to become even more automated and streamlined
+ Management of remote Customer Service Representative
+ Management of third party warehousing and distribution relationships
+ Various administrative tasks to be carried out for the CEO

About You:

+ At least 5 years of supply chain / operations experience
+ The ability to work effectively both independently and within a small team (we are currently a small team of 4 people)
+ Hands-on approach to tasks is needed as all tasks needs to be carried out without the possibility of delegating them to junior staff
+ Ability to perform time sensitive tasks while maintaining 100% accuracy
+ A highly organised person with a great attention to detail
+ Excellent computer skills and experience using software programs and online tools
+ Confidence to speak up and ask questions
+ Ability to understand and follow pre-established policies and procedures
+ Strong number skills
+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Additionally, the following are not essential but would move you further up our shortlist:

+ Strong understanding of Chinese (Mandarin) + written and spoken to communicate with our suppliers
+ Furniture experience
+ Experience dealing with Chinese factories
