The Head of IT Opportunity:
We are looking for a Head of IT / Senior IT Manager who will oversee the evolution, development, and maintenance of our infrastructure, systems, applications & processes; ensuring that they not only meet the growing and progressive needs of the business but also all necessary legal, GDPR, and security requirements too.

You will have a high level of experience and technical aptitude over a large scope of IT software & systems, hardware, and networking disciplines, and will remain at the forefront of the latest knowledge/trends in all of these areas.
What will you get in return?
This role will manage budgets for the systems & infrastructure, together with the responsibility for the management of IT-related contracts. The Senior IT Manager will design the strategic delivery of processes, global/local systems & applications ensuring that all key requirements are met within agreed timescales & budget.
What will you be doing?
+ You will have budget management responsibility
+ You will have overall accountability for IT support for our business operations – distribution (warehousing & fulfillment), manufacturing, in addition to the support of our non-ops teams’ hardware & systems.
+ You will have overall responsibility for key business systems including ERP, WMS, G Suite, Asana, Slack, and many others.
+ You will be able to identify opportunities to streamline processes for the benefit of the business and build a best in class team
+ You will monitor and manage service levels and performance standards for the team
+ You will be responsible for the line management, coaching, and development of the IT team. (currently consisting of a team of 3 in IT support, systems administration and in-house ERP developer)
+ You will manage supplier contracts, conducting tender processes, and negotiations.
+ You will lead innovation and delivery of key projects/enhancements to our business systems from the definition phase through to development, testing, implementation & support.
+ You will develop and manage strong relationships with relevant vendors to ensure leading-edge system solutions & processes are developed and implemented to gain a competitive advantage

+ Experience of managing ERP systems, WMS experience is a massive plus.
+ Track record of project management covering all aspects – from concept to delivery.
+ Supplier management and negotiation skills
+ Strong people management & team leadership skills
+ Experience in leading teams in delivering BAU support and major change programmes.
+ A high degree of ownership in all matters within the IT infrastructure but not limited to.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
+ Experience within FMCG/production/warehousing, high-growth, eCommerce is a massive plus.

Location: Either London (Liverpool Street) or Essex (Colchester) but travel to both sites will be required.
