New City College is the dynamic group of further education colleges in East London which comprises Tower Hamlets College, Hackney Community College, Epping Forest College Redbridge College, Havering College of Further & Higher Education and Havering Sixth form College. We are currently looking for two confident and efficient Personal Assistant to support the Group Executive Directors. 

PA to Group Executive Director HR Part Time (0.8FTE)

Cross College - travel to all our sites will be required.

£23,236 per annum (£29,045 full time equivalent salary)

The role includes day to day administration, diary management and minute taking. You will play a key role in co-ordinating their calendars, work tasks and overseeing agendas and day to day project tasks. A key part of the role will be anticipating their needs in relation to the planning of their work schedules, and the forward planning of meetings and events. The Personal Assistant will act as a focal point for enquiries from internal and external stakeholders particularly senior management.

You must be able to plan and progress a programme of work to strict deadlines and have excellent oral and written communication skills. An excellent eye for detail and accuracy is paramount. You should possess proficient computer skills and an expertise in the use of software packages and applications, including the MS Office suite namely Word, Excel and Powerpoint and TEAMS. A willingness to work flexibly and to adapt quickly to changing operational needs is essential as you will occasionally be required to stay late.

0.5 PA to Group Executive Director of Communication, Marketing & Student Support

Hackney Campus – (However travel to all our sites will be required)

£13,083 per annum (£26,167 full time equivalent salary)

We are inviting applications for a personal assistant to support our Group Executive Director: Communications, Marketing and Student Support.

This is a varied and rewarding role. As well as PA duties such as diary management and wide-ranging administrative support the successful candidate will need to have a good working understanding of corporate identity and brand.

They will support the Group Executive Director to put together documents, use digital images and extract and report on data from spreadsheets and the college's information systems. They will also support the directorate at corporate events and play a key role in recruitment activities.

The base campus will be Hackney and the successful candidate will be required to travel to all NCC campuses. The role is 0.5 FTE with hours to be agreed with the suitable candidate.
