Full Time: 37.5 hours per week (mixed pattern: 9-5 with some e arly and late shifts and some weekend working)

We are looking for a highly motivated Band 3 activity worker to be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing positive care for our service users. If you are interested in promoting health and well being, interested in exercise, activity and creative therapies and driven to motivate others you will be ideally suited to this post.

Working on our older adult acute inpatient ward, the post-holder will be supervised by the Ward Manager and will work with the ward nursing, occupational therapy and psychology team to co-ordinate a programme of meaningful ward activities based on service user choice.

Training will be provided and post holders will be expected to participate in their own skill development. All ward based staff are required to undertake mandatory training in the prevention and management of violence and aggression.
