The technology consultant will work in partnership with our strategy, and Management consulting teams to shape digital strategy and to architect solutions and lead our delivery teams. They will be used to working with partner organisations to enable and unlock new value streams within NHS Trusts and the Integrated Care technology base. They will have a wealth of hands on experience gained from working within or with the NHS. Well practised in an agile delivery lifecycle approach, the delivery lead will manage all stages of the project lifecycle, tenaciously driving through troubleshooting and issue resolution to keep delivery on track. The consultant will be required to scope, size and pull together multi-disciplined teams to deliver and drive forward the solution. They will be expected to be a hands on delivery practitioner, able to motivate and robustly drive a team through a complex plan of work. They have a well-developed technical background coupled with strong stakeholder management. They will set themselves apart by having experience in delivery and scoping complex digital and analytics solutions in healthcare to drive cloud transformation programs involving multiple SI partners.RequirementsThe Technology Delivery lead will have a proven track record in helping NHS organisations transform their organisations, taking a lead role for overall design delivery of the solution. Furthermore, the ideal delivery lead will:
Deep technical experience through direct involvement, management experience and hands-on technical experience with systems, technologies and processes including project management, requirements analysis, and information security
Demonstrate working to the best industry standards and ensure that the delivery of the solutions are pragmatic, timely and aligned to the Clients business objectives and security requirements;
An understanding of technology strategies for a variety of situations and the ability to tailor these to help guide your audience to better technology outcomes.
The ability to identify technology improvement opportunities which others may not see and can convert these opportunities into actionable and concrete recommendations delivering business value.
Have 10+ years' hands on experience as a technical delivery lead, with a track record of delivering complex projects including emerging technology and cloud components, in the Healthcare sector;
Help clients anticipate business needs by analysing, documenting and communicating business needs and technology requirements. Advise management on the risks and benefits of using various technologies to improve business performance.
Perform risk assessments, requirements planning and management, and develop business requirements documents.
Drive client lead business and vendor staff to implement technology solutions that meet business needs and direct the analysis and resolution of problems
In possession of knowledge of emerging technology and to bring these concepts to PwC programmes to enhance the value of the PwC client offering. The candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Emerging Technology: AI, RPA, Robotics, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT)
- Industry recognised clinical applications: EPR, PAS, Acute care, Health Information Analytics
- Industry recognised standard applications: SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, MS Dynamics365, Workday
- Transformational Enterprise Architectures: Integration, API's, Containers etc.
- Enterprise cloud vendors: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
- Sector specifics analytics platforms: Digital twin of human body for key disease types.
