Job Details

Pay: MPS 1-6

Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking an amazing and energetic teacher to join our school. This year we have a year 5/6 co class and we are looking for someone who would work with our wonderful Deputy Headteacher to teach them.

We are a small country school who know our children and strive to give them the skills, confidence and experiences so that they can 'live life in all its fullness.' (John 10:10)

As a school we work tirelessly to ensure that our team are happy at work, supporting work life balance by flexible working, secured PPA and autonomy... Most of all we trust our team to be professionals.

Our school values of Care, Learn and Forgive are seen in all we do as teachers and in our pupils. We truly care about all of our community and look after each other. We strive to provide the best learning possible. We forgive and encourage mistakes.

We have embarked on an exciting journey of curriculum development this year and we would love someone to join our team and embrace this. We work together in protected time to do this and as our foundations are strong we can now develop a truly individual offer for our children.

In September 2020 we will move to a brand new building and this again will be an exciting chapter for our school and our community.

We are flexible for the right candidate on start date, working patterns and the possibility of leadership in a permanent role.

If you would like to discuss the opportunity or visit please contact by email.

Information about the school

We are a small community church school made up of 145 kind, motivated and excited learners. Our Christian values of care, learn and forgive are felt throughout our school and we keep central to all we do. Our children are confident and proud of their school and belonging to it. We believe education should not only equip children academically and emotionally but provide memories and shape our children to 'live life in all its fullness' (John 10:10)

We are a staff team who support and encourage each other's development to ensure that the children have the best education they can whilst they are with us. We are outward facing in our curriculum design and development process and welcome new ideas and approaches into our school.

We are in an exciting phase of the school development with a new site being built and prepared for a transition in 2021. We are offering an amazing opportunity to be part of the next chapter of our amazing school where you can lead the development of our curriculum further.

We are proud to support flexible working and part time working in order to have the best staff team we can possibly have.

Please get in touch and come and visit to feel how wonderful the school atmosphere is.

Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
