Clifton College is recruiting for maternity cover for their Financial Operations Supervisor to work in their vibrant and busy finance team. You will be responsible for a team of four staff who look after the sales and purchase ledgers, along with being responsible for the effective operation of the treasury function.
The Operations team look after the billing for 1200 pupils on a termly basis, which requires regular communication with parents and other school staff. The team are also responsible for managing effective cash flows within the school, ensuring payments are made on time and cash is collected. The successful candidate will be required to monitor cash and provide weekly rolling cash flow forcasts to assist the Finance Director in decision making.
The Operations team is part of the wider Finance team of 10 staff, who work in a collaborative way to problem solve, ensuring they provide the best service to the parents and wider school staff.
The ideal applicant will have exceptional excel skills (pivots/macros etc) and have great attention to detail. They will be able to prioritise and problem solve and lead their team whilst allowing them to take ownership for their own roles and responsibilities.
This is a full time role and the rate of pay is £30,00-£35,000 per annum.
