Hays are working with a growing group based in Telford who have a permanent job vacancy within their commercial finance team. The business is within a growth sector within the UK and it is a very exciting time to be joining a company committed to expansion, who can progress your finance career at the same time. Your new role
This job will focus on key revenue drivers and you will also be accountable for the businesses cost base down to gross profit. You will be working closely with the wider business and finance team to implement new and challenge existing KPIs focusing on efficiency and productivity and drive business performance by analysing data and improving processes. Your job will also include budgeting, forecasting and working the business to ensure relevant controls are in place. You will be required to present to Senior Management Team and be challenged on numbers and provide clear reasoning and logic for current performance.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for applicants who are fully qualified accountants - CIMA/ACCA or ACA ideally with 3 years post-qualification experience. You will have strong analytical skills and have advanced systems and excel knowledge. You will have experience managing financial projects and evidence of previous cost saving successes and be willing to own projects from being through to implementation and beyond. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet challenging deadlines.
