NHS Lothian Supplementary Staffing Service currently have opportunities for Healthcare Students who would like to apply for a role as a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant.
Interested applicants are requested to clearly state in the Assessment section within the application form, an awareness of the Supplementary Staffing Service function and individual flexibility to being part of this workforce. Whilst previous experience within a care environment is desirable but not essential, evidence of a clear understanding of the daily duties of a Healthcare Assistant and the Values of NHS Lothian must be detailed within the application to be considered for an interview.
We are looking for good team workers, who are able to provide compassionate and high quality person centred care. Work would be allocated on an "as and when required basis" with different shift patterns available to suit flexible working. Within the Staff Bank system, there are no guarantees of a fixed amount of hours each week as this is a demand led service.
The Staff Bank provides a comprehensive Online Induction Programme. This is a Mandatory requirement that all successful applicants must complete.
