Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in NHS Lothian are currently embarking upon a service redesign supported by £3 million of additional investment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking senior occupational therapist who wishes to contribute to our vision of getting it right for every child and young person with a mental health problem. As Head of Occupational Therapies, your will professional lead the occupational therapy team. The postholder will also by a member of the CAMHS Senior Management Team with responsibilities for strategic and operational management of a well-resourced Tier 3 and Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
Our new home is the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. This modern and purpose-built health facility will be the base of our Senior Management Team and Tier 4 services. Edinburgh, our stunning capital city that is a bristling, historic hive of culture with breath-taking landmarks, atmospheric festivals year-round and awe-inspiring architecture. Yet just a few miles away, you could not feel further from the city in the beautiful Pentland Hills or one of the many picturesque seaside towns of East Lothian.
