This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

Job Purpose

• The post-holder is responsible for undertaking psychological assessment and formulation to determine the appropriate evidence based psychological intervention(s) for clients presenting with a range of complex mental health needs (Matrix 3-4).
• Responsible for managing own caseload from admission to discharge, including the prioritisation of waiting lists, to support the delivery of national targets.
• To supervise, teach and support high and low intensity and trainee therapists.
