Role: Finance Administrator

Location: Harpenden

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Immediate start required!

A confident, administrator looking to progress their career within finance is being recruited for an immediately available temporary contract. The contract is to cover a period of maternity leave and will require someone available and ready to start in early December.

This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and will be office based for the duration of the contract.

Role profile:
  • Inputting of large volumes of data to a new department system in time for "go live" deadline
  • Generating sales reports to be used for financial reporting
  • Amending customer information
  • Supporting the wider finance department with key monthly responsibilities
  • Checking of information received and ensuring financial statements are correct
  • Assisting with other adhoc projects set by the Finance Manager

You'll need to be;
  • An excellent communicator with a strong head for numbers
  • Analytical with high attention to detail
  • A confident administrator with working knowledge of MS Office inc Word & Excel (previous experience gained within a financial department will be beneficial but not essential)
  • Able to demonstrate a "can do" approach to projects which may require flexibility with hours and job responsibilities
