About The Role
As we continue to grow our Finance function we have a new opportunity for a Systems Manager who will be key to the transformation journey. You'll own the development and delivery of the Finance systems roadmap, contributing towards & understanding our overall systems taxonomy, ensuring this aligns with the strategic direction of the function and CBS technology vision.
In order to ensure our systems are fit for purpose you'll be accountable for understanding the capability of those systems, data flows and the business processes supported by those, in order that we can mature those capabilities to meet the needs of our future function.
You'll be the SME for all systems related initiatives, changes, updates and development in Finance. Engaging with IT Service management and Architecture, Change & procurement maintaining control of the systems lifecycle.
You'll have significant experience working in a similar role, within a highly regulated environment, ideally within a Finance/Treasury function and preferably with experience of developing technology roadmaps and maturity model to support target state development.
Ideally you'll have experience of working within an environment undergoing significant change and demonstrable experience of working successfully with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
As a team player with demonstrable evidence of strong leadership and influencing skills you'll be equipped with excellent planning and organisation skills.
You'll work collaboratively with your colleagues and stakeholders to ensure delivery against commitments is achieved working to address any challenges, utilising your excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
You'll have an ability to deliver under pressure and to tight timescales. You'll be curious and want to understand how your role and activity fits and adds value in the context of Finance and the wider Society as a whole.
