Working closely with experienced Marketing Automation Specialists within the Marketing Automation team, and working the wider Digital Marketing team, you will be responsible for development, hands-on execution, and technical set up of our targeted marketing automation campaigns and customer journeys. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing technology and best practices, an analytical flair, and willingness to support and upskill the wider Marketing teams with automation principles. The candidate will help turn business requirements and priorities into reality and strive to continuously improve the effectiveness of our campaigns as well as the client experience. The role may be suited for a current technical CRM/Email/Automation marketing executive looking to develop their skills in Marketing Automation and move up to the next level in their career.Responsibilities:
Building and managing automated marketing campaigns within Marketing Cloud using Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder & Cloud Pages and other platform tools
Building & QAing 'drag and drop' journeys, dynamic content journeys and cloud pages using PwC templates and maintaining these templates using brand guidelines
Setting up dynamic content within emails to drive personalisation and maximise engagement across the email channel
Auditing marketing sends to ensure they meet guidelines
Creating and reviewing basic audiences and data extensions and ensuring data quality
Ensuring segmentation, messaging/content/imagery, customer journey, and reporting are all functioning properly
Supporting the wider Marketing teams with automation and journey strategy development; the creation and execution of automated marketing campaigns; managing build, UAT and QA, pilots and tests, and carrying out analysis (reporting/tracking) to inform best practice
Supporting continuous improvement to processes, systems and templates that team members and the wider department use for data management, email and automated marketing
Keeping up-to-date with Data Protection laws and industry and Marketing Cloud best practices, trends and standards, ensure key information is shared appropriately
Contributing relevant content to training and supporting technical training where required
Work closely with the Technical Centre of Excellence and Global teams to support with implementation of new platform features and releases
Support with digital roadmap projects such as implementation of lead qualification process and lead nurture campaigns
Working with peers within the Marketing departments to deliver on annual objectives for the department and objectives for the marketing campaigns
Qualifications & Experience:
Email marketing automation experience, ideally with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Experience working with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio / Triggered Emails, Cloud Pages, Contact Builder / Audience Builder, Content Builder and Analytics Builder would be advantageous
Marketing Cloud certification would be advantageous
Basic HTML / CSS skills
Knowledge of SQL and Salesforce AMPscript would be a plus
Used to delivering projects to deadline and achieving desired results, in liaison with the wider business
Good understanding of relevant legislation and industry best practice
Strong verbal and written communication skills
