This opportunity will be working with the medical research market, a key area of interest in development of life saving treatments, vaccines to aid us in society.
You'll be working to manage orders of laboratory automation equipment and ancillary solutions. The products are complex in many ways and a good understanding of mechanical, electrical engineering to effectively find the right solutions to deliver to the end users.
You'd be inheriting a busy project pipeline across the UK and with this the responsibilities for delivering a range of projects. This could be small one off orders or prototypes to major long term contracts and installations
You'll maintain, organise and facilitate throughout the life of the project direct control for all aspects including; site coordination, finance, planning, equipment sourcing and installation management.
Engaging with end users primarily but also involved with main contractors on larger build projects.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about engineering with a strong technical interest and appreciation for machinery.
Combining this with a strong Project Management experience with a preference to working with laboratory equipment, process machinery, automation solutions etc. Any other product/industry with a technical bias is also desirable.
Any experience of dealing with Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare/Science markets is highly advantageous. Knowledge of HVAC Systems, Scientific Machinery/Equipment/Industrial Washing/Entrance Systems.
Overall though we are looking for people who are commercially lead, able to deal with customers with some engineering know-how (mechanical) that can demonstrate managing projects through to completion.
Prince 2 qualification is desirable
A technical or engineering qualification would also be an advantage.
