Head of Compliance (Governance / Audit)
Salary: £39,000 (Part Time Salary)
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, 3 days per week

Main Purpose of Job:
Assist the Executive Director Governance & Compliance on compliance matters for all Group Members and joint venture entities, ensuring compliance with constitutional aspects and that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met. This position is for 3 days per week.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Assist the Executive Director Governance & Compliance on the effective management of the Group's compliance with the Senior Managers Regime in so far as it relates to the activities of the Group.
Assist the Executive Director Governance & Compliance to ensure Group compliance with anti-corruption legislation and regulation, including anti money laundering, anti-bribery and anti-fraud.
Undertake the Group's annual self-assessment of compliance with the Regulatory Framework.
Responsibility for the Group's internal Compliance Audit Programme ('CAP'), including the review and preparation of CAPs. To lead, conduct and report on such audits at the appropriate level and ensure agreed actions and recommendations are implemented.
Maintain the group-wide compliance and management tools, including the Compliance Calendar, and liaise with compliance owners to ensure that the reporting tools are up to date and refreshed on a frequent basis
Assist with compilation of Regulatory and/or Statutory returns as applicable
For the above post you will have/be:
A proven track record of undertaking compliance/audit work
Understanding of the importance of legal and regulatory compliance and confidentiality
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience of governance and compliance within a regulatory environment would be beneficial
Experience of reviewing and monitoring existing services would be desirable
