Empowering Learning are working with a school in Bexley who are looking to recruit a Speech and Language Assistant who can also run interventions in Key Stage 2.

If you have experience working with Key stage 2 children either in the classroom or tutoring in Literacy and Numeracy keep reading.

You will be supporting children with speech and language and you must have experience in a previous role. You will also be working with children on a 1:1 basis or small groups delivering interventions with Maths and English.

Job Responsibilities

• Support pupils learning development
• Support speech and language therapists
• Able to work with groups or 1:1 support within the classroom
• Ability to engage pupils in different subjects
• Supervising pupil's behaviour

Job Requirements

• Comfortable supporting pupils during interventions
• Childcare qualification or Graduate degree

• Legal right to work in the UK

• Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or overseas Police clearances (if applicable)
• Strong communication skills
• Willing to work with different primary age groups
