Your new company
Based in Renfrewshire, our client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a 6 months fixed term contract initially. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. The organisation can be accessed by public transport and there is on-site parking also. Training and on-boarding will be provided in office and the contract will the commence working from home.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will undertake a range of tasks and work as part of a small but busy finance team. Your duties will include; purchase ledger, sales ledger, query handling, reconciliations, preparing journals, supporting tasks for month-end and general associated finance administration. The IT packages used are Navision and Excel.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have proven experience in a similar role where you have undertaken both purchase and sales ledger responsibilities. You must have good Excel skills and be comfortable with V-look ups and pivot tables. Experience of Navision would be highly advantageous.
