Textiles Machine Operative

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing has several roles available for experienced Machine Operators to join a busy and thriving textiles manufacturing business in Heckmondwike. The roles are initially on a 6 month fixed term contract basis (working directly for the client) with the potential opportunity to be extended or made permanent.

The roles are on a rotating 3 shift pattern of days, afters and nights. Paid hourly- you get paid for every hour you work (plenty of overtime at an enhanced rate).

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Setting and operating bespoke textiles production machinery
* Maintain targeted production schedule by keeping the line operational
* Quality checks
* Machine changeovers and some manual input
* Producing accurate production reports

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing are keen to speak with the following skills and experience:

* Experienced in setting and operating textiles production line machinery (non-woven needle punch/back coating/tufting)- any textiles machining background will be considered
* Electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic experience
* Good standard of education/experience
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Strong focus on health & safety is a must!
