Exam Invigilator
Contract term: Required from April 2021, on a casual contract with flexible hours
Salary: £9.30
We are looking to recruit several new Exam Invigilators to join our dedicated and friendly invigilating team to oversee our examination process at key times of the academic year.
This position reports into the Exams Officer and to succeed in this role, you will be a reliable, flexible team player, readily available during the main exam periods. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills are also key, as is the ability to offer a confident and reassuring presence to all candidates in a variety of situations.
The main duties include:
- To conduct examinations in accordance with all regulations and instructions;
- To have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination/assessment process.
This will be a casual contract which would include attending team meetings and training events. You would need to be available to start by 8.55am or 1.15pm on days of exams but hours will be advised dependent on Invigilator availability and School requirements. No prior experience of invigilation is required as full training will be provided by the Exams Officer, however some experience of working with children would be advantageous.
Applications should be submitted by midday on Thursday 10 December 2020 at the latest; however, applications may be considered in advance of the deadline. Interviews will take place week commencing 14 December 2020.
