Civil Engineer

Asset Engineer, Civil Engineering / near Thetford

Mon to Fri - 37h per week

£29,000 - £30,000 per annum

This is a temporary assignment starting in January for approximately 3 months.

Duties:

• Assist in undertaking annual asset inspections (bridges, dams, culverts, forest roads)
• Traveling across East Anglia
• Completing documentations, utilising forms and photographs
• Maintaining and updating GIS database,
• Organising and supervising follow up works as agreed with your Supervisory Engineer

Must have:

• Previous experience is necessary
• Full UK driving license
• Good understanding of Ordnance survey data
• Understanding of GIS databases
• Work unsupervised and ability to prioritise according to workload
• Good knowledge of structural materials and use
