Job Details
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Project Coordinator to join our market leading manufacturing client.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the life of a project (sales order) from initial enquiry stage to the drawing interpretation and configuration, quotation generation through to invoicing and error reduction.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Interpret customer drawings, create quotations and orders using their knowledge of customer specification
* Liaise with internal departments (Manufacturing, R&D, Quality)
* Work with contractors and customers to ensure program and specifications are understood and can be achieved
* Be responsible for any administrative work undertaken in support of your client and work for other clients when the need arises (e.g. quotations, order loading, invoicing)
* Ensure program changes are actioned in a timely manner. Keep quotation up to date
* Sign off site with customer; ensuring any late information is up to date for invoicing and assist accounts in chasing late payment
* Work in full support of Key Account Managers
* Contribute to the management of GAP analysis reports and error reduction
Essential Skills Requirements:
* Ability to communicate at all levels and negotiate positively with sales, suppliers and internal customers and colleagues
* Strong numeracy and accuracy skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience with IT software, strong Microsoft office skills (particularly excel)
* Manage and prioritise workload
* Ability to work with defined processes but able to identify improvements
* Can do attitude and ability to get things right first time
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast moving environment
