Application Support Developer - Chorley - £35k
Application Support, C#, .Net, SQL, Support Developer
This advanced solutions provider requires a driven and self-motivated Application Support Developer to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. They are based in Chorley and they will offer you an excellent salary and benefits package. The key to this role is working with complex data sets, identifying data trends, and implementing root cause and data fixes to a high standard.
The Application Support Developer will be responsible for:
Working with team members to investigate customer issues and resolving data fixes via SQL
Handling large data sets and providing bulk data fixes whilst responding to supplier queries
Identify requirements for product improvements and working with support team to identify and develop scripts to optimize and maintain systems
Follow JIRA and in-house software processes and participate in configuration management
Report progress and complying to standards of quality control
The following skills and experience are required:
Software development and support in a .Net and SQL environment
Experience understanding complex database structures
Supporting bespoke application
Excellent communication skill whilst developing effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
Good understanding of SDLC
