In this role you are accountable for:

• Lead and manage the team

• Full accountability for the achievement of agreed service level agreements and KPIs for the client

• Review processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made

• Inspecting final output, comparing it to the requirements, and ensuring correct actioning of requirements related to all products

• Ensuring legal obligations and requirements are followed ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and health and safety guidelines

• Support training as well as training reviews of the team managing role out and changes of processes

• Gaining an understanding of the client's needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the team

• Compiling weekly and monthly period packs for the Senior team

• Liaising and supporting third parties; including MOD, NHS amongst other parties

• Building, maintaining and understanding the customer needs and requirements

Person Specification:

Experience of working in a high pace, dynamic environment
Liaising with key contacts around the business (both internal and external)Required skills, knowledge and experience:

Previous managerial experience within a Quality Control role
Strong attention to detail, observation, organisational and leadership skills
Strong knowledge and experience in data analysis and statistical methods
Good IT skills and use of Microsoft packagesDesirable skills, knowledge and experience:

In depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards
Experience working with public and/or government sectors

This position is offered on an initial 12 month fixed term contract
