Job Details
Cobham Aviation Services are recruiting for a Flight Data Monitoring Analyst to be responsible to the Rotary Wing CAMO Manager, for detailed analysis of rotary wing flight data in relation to operational performance. It requires validation of all data downloaded from rotary wing fleets, providing the Rotary Wing CAMO Manager with regular updates on Level (2) events, and generation of monthly reports for customers of operational trends. It requires detailed analysis of operational data to establish trends to assist in the identification of situations that may require corrective action.
This position is based at our Bournemouth International Airport site and requires minimal travel.
As a Flight Data Monitoring Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Working knowledge of Flight Data Monitoring/Analysis
Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance and safety
Understanding of aviation SMS frameworks and regulations
Experience managing the implementation of new processes and procedures
Analytical skills
Technical report writing skills
Assertive self-starter
Communication skills, both written and verbal,
Relationship management with in house, customer & key supplier contacts
Personal and professional integrity and confidentiality
Time management skills,
Ability to comprehend and adapt to a diverse regulatory structure
Familiar with the full suite of Microsoft Office, in particular MSWord.
As a Flight Data Monitoring Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:
To be responsible for (maintain, measure and manage) the detailed procedure (with support from Part 145) for the downloading of data from the B412, B212 & AW139 fleets (and any future fleets) and the uploading of this data into appropriate FDM management tools.
In conjunction with the RW CAMO Manager, determine the list of Level (2) and Level (1) event parameters, which will be analysed as the interim event list.
Gain & maintain a detailed understanding of the FDM Data Bases through initial training , through FDM forums, and through ongoing relationship development with FDM suppliers
Responsible for the review and validation of all Level 2 events within the Data Bases & present weekly updates.
Responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly FDM reports.
Presentation of FDM data and information at customer review meetings.
Responsible for analysing both Level 1 and Level 2 FDM data and provide trend data reports to meet contractual commitments.
Responsible for maintaining any confidential registers as required by the FDM Agreement and GDPR.
Contribute to the continual improvement of the Aircraft Maintenance Plans and reporting formats.
To be responsible for providing specific flight data information when requested by Safety Teams or the RW CAMO Manager to assist in investigations as allowed by the FDM Agreement.
Assist in the identification of situations that may require corrective action in relation to operational and flight safety.
