Our client is the leading provider of investment research software, fund analysis and ratings to the UK financial services industry, and are a fast growing and successful brand. As a result of significant growth, they are now seeking a talented individual to join them as they further expand their commercial offering and reach in the fund space. The Role & Previous Experience Required:
As an Investment Consultant, you will analyse fund data and build strong relationships with fund managers in order to fully understand their approach. You will use this data and knowledge to create and maintain fund reviews and ratings that are used by thousands of advisers to inform the recommendations they make to their clients. You will also provide analysis for fund panels and other consultancy projects. You will write adviser-facing publications and PR. You may also have the opportunity to speak at industry events.
The successful candidate will have excellent data analysis and interpretation skills. You will have an excellent knowledge of all types of investment funds. You'll need to be someone with high levels of personal presence and credibility, who can effectively establish and develop client relationships at a senior level. You will ideally be a CFA charterholder with relevant experience working at a fund manager, wealth manager or consultancy practice. If not, you'll have alternative professional qualifications and be able to demonstrate equivalent capability. In addition, you'll also need good writing and presentation skills.
After your initial induction, you're likely to be based in the Haddenham office for one day per week and out talking to fund managers (mainly in central London) for another two days per week. Our client are very flexible in their approach to working hours and support working from home where possible.
