Financial Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant working for a fast growing and dynamic private equity backed company based in High Wycombe. The role would suit someone studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) who is looking to progress their career and develop themselves.

Key Responsibilities:

Production of internal management reporting and management accounting packs
Manage month end close process and reconciliations
Manage day to day ledger's and ensure accuracy of postings - Including cash postings and bank recs
Balance sheet reconciliation ownership and resolution of queries
VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat returns
General Ledger reporting accuracy and bank reconciliations
Capex reporting
Cashflow reporting
Online banking and banking governance
Audit engagement
Month end processes/Internal Management reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations & intercompany accounts
Accounts Payable & Receivable (holiday cover)
Payroll reconciliation / payroll payments
Statutory reporting and taxationPerson Requirements:

Part Qualified accountant (ideally ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
A strong understanding of the month end process
Ability to thrive within a fast-paced business environment
Flexibility, drive and attention to detail
Understands an effective financial control environment
